Ashok is a solicitor with over 40 years experience, specialising in acting fo commercial banks in infrastructure financings in the UK and internationally for carbon capture, renewable energy, telecommunications, defence, railways, roads, hospitals, schools and universities projects. He has been a partner at a number of City of London firms and an international US firm and also sits as a Chair of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.

He is the Chair of the Almshouses.

Neil is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over 60 years’ experience in the Real Estate sector. He has listed three companies on the London Stock Exchange and was recently presented with The Lifetime Service Award by Variety International, for his 50+ years commitment to the Charity. He is currently Chair of the Property Sub-Committee.

Hails from South Africa. He is a dentist in Belsize ParK. Mervyn is also a lecturer and life coach and is the author of the book: “Dream, Believe, Achieve-Success’.

Stanley was a partner in the London office of a medium-sized firm of chartered accountants dealing mainly with FCA regulated and publishing clients. He has been on the Board of Trustees and a treasurer of several charities and now does consultancy work, including advising on tax.

Angela is the Clerk to the Trustees and reports to the Board. She is the Board’s executive officer. She manages and oversees all the Charity’s operations and governance. For many years, Angela was a solicitor and partner in a city firm specialising in media and employment law, after which she set up her own legal and business consultancy. She acted as an ambassador for a university with responsibility for corporate engagement.

Angela is a Trustee of Kidney Care UK, where she sits on the main Board ,chairs the Staff and Remuneration Committee, and is a member of the Nominations Panel.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys her family, the arts, travel and sport. She is an associate member of M.C.C.
